I choose to do my top three book sagas.
I have based it on a “fantasy” aspect, because you should read a book to get away from the real world not to live it through a book, length, because books should not be 5 chapters, and just plain interest. My choices were #1- Twilight, #2- The Keeper, and finally #3- The Harry Potter sagas.
Twilight made number one because it’s a thrilling, mind turning, and wonderfully mind occupying saga that will allow for anyone to disappear from their daily lives. It has almost everything, vampires, werewolves and even a great love plot. Although Twilight has many criticizers it is a wonderful saga to read if you enjoy a good love story and a few good fights. Most of the book takes place in Forks, Washington, but through out the saga the travel to Venice, San Francisco, and Canada. The basis of the book surrounds a young girl, who moves in with her father in Forks, Washington, and soon after school begins falls in love with a vampire named Edward. Through out they strive to keep their relationship a secret from the Vultori, an ancient “family” of vampires who live in Venice. In the last book, Breaking Dawn, Edward and Bella get married; have a child, Renesme, fight off the Vultori, and Bella becomes a vampire. This saga has everything and more for a mind altering experience with books.
The keeper saga made number two because of its Canadian setting, thrilling characters, and twisting plot line that kept you wanting to read more. The books are based in Kingston, Ontario; the first takes place in Elysian Fields Inn, a run down little inn that caters to the supernatural. Claire, a keeper of the magical realm, and her spunky cat Austen have been summoned here. The inn sports some thrilling adventures such as a portal to hell in the basement, a sleeping keeper who was turned evil in room 6, a rather irritating ghost that has fallen madly in love with her, and not to mention the madly handsome caretaker from Newfound Land named Dean. Through out the book Claire deals with all of these with her own paza. In the second book Claire’s overly personable sister Diana causes more trouble than she can deal with. When Diana encounters an angel she doesn’t want to tell her sister just incase she might get mad at her for it so she promptly turns him into a cat. Although this might have fooled Claire and her parents this did not fool Austen. This saga takes you up and down and through a world not known to us. It provides a good, quick read that’s fun for anyone.

The Harry Potter saga made number three because of its almost child like quality to a more advanced reader. It still has a vary mind grabbing and turning plot that makes you want to read more. The basis of it is a young boy named Harry is actually a wizard, who has been accepted to the magical school of Hogwarts. This saga contains witches, wizards, dragons, and tons of magic. You have unforgettable characters like Hermione, Ron and his charismatic brothers and Hagrid. This is a fabulous saga for anyone who likes a bit of danger with their fantasy.
